FC Ifeanyi Ubah Skipper Emmanuel Returns To Full Training
Published: June 01, 2016The was a big surprise at the evening training session of FC Ifeanyi Ubah as team captain Emmanuel Thompson resumed full training with the rest of the team.
Thompson who has been out for over a month through a thigh injury, took part in the intensive training sessions at the Football Stadium of the Rojenny Sports Village Oba.
Speaking to the FC Ifeanyi Ubah media team, Thompson expressed his delight to be back from injury.
‘I thank God for everything, I am almost fine, and recuperating. Hopefully I will be back to my best soon.’
The midfielder also disclosed that it was very tough for him during the injury.
‘Not being able to play or train was tough for me, at times but am happy that am now back to training.’
Meanwhile, every player was available for Tuesday’s evening training to the great pleasure of the coaching crew as the team intensifies preparation for Sunday’s week twenty Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) match against Niger Tornadoes in Lokoga.
FC Ifeanyi Ubah are 11th on the NPFL standings, 4 points behind league leaders Rivers United.
