Versatile Nigerian Defender Tariq Ossai Signs New Deal With Crystal Palace
Published: June 03, 2016With a statement published on their official website, English Premier League side Crystal Palace have announced that Nigerian defender Tariq Ossai has been offered a scholarship ahead of next season.
Ossai was one of the sixteen players in the ranks of The Eagles that signed new scholarships, having appeared for the academy side during the 2015-16 season.
The teenager is a defensive all-rounder as he can play different roles in defense including right fullback, left fullback and center back.
Tariq Ossai was named Man of the Match on December 5, 2015 as Crystal Palace U18s beat Ipswich Town 1-0 in the U18 Professional Development League 2.
He will play for the U18 team of the Londoners next term.
