Watford Fullback Ikechi Anya In Action For Scotland, As Arsenal Stars Strike
Published: June 04, 2016Watford star Ikechi Anya was in action on Saturday as Scotland were thrashed 3-0 by Euro 2016 hosts France at the Stade Saint-Symphorien in Metz.
The wing-back played the second half of the loss to Les Bleus, having started the game on the bench.
Arsenal striker Olivier Giroud notched a first-half brace before teammate Koscielny completed the scoring six minutes before the intermission.
Scotland are the only country from the British Isles that failed to qualify for the 2016 UEFA European Championship.
Anya was eligible to defend the colours of Nigeria, England and Romania before his competitive debut for the Scots.
