Obanor, Emiloju Backed To Shine For Nigeria U23s At Olympic Games
Published: June 05, 2016Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries Football Club of Lagos has tipped the duo of Obanor Erhun and Julius Emiloju Oriyomi for success at the forthcoming 2016 Rio Olympics that will take place in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
Haven given good accounts of themselves for MFM FC in the ongoing Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) with superlative performances, the defenders made the 20-man squad for the Suwon, South Korea Invitational Tournament as they continue with their preparations for the men’s football tournament at this year’s Olympic Games which runs from August 5 to August 21, 2016.
The chairman of the Lagos-based team, Godwin Enakhena stated that Emiloju and Obanor are bound for success at the 2016 Rio Olympics.
“All things being equal, Obanor and Emiloju will be flying Nigeria’s flag at the Olympics.
“We owe them total support and prayers for their names to go down in history as joining Nwankwo Kanu and Austin Okocha to have won the football gold .”
Mr Enakhena added that Obanor and Emiloju need to keep their heads up in spite of the poor results of the Dream Team in South Korea.
