Nigerian Defender Afolabi Coker Released By Norwich City
Published: June 10, 2016Norwich City have announced via their official webpage that Nigerian defender Afolabi Coker will have to look for a new club ahead of the 2016-2017 campaign.
The 20-year-old’s contract with the Canaries will run out on June 30, 2016 and they have decided not to offer him fresh terms.
Afolabi Coker began his career with Brentford, before joining the Academy Team of Leeds United in 2012.
From Leeds United, the stopper penned a one-year contract with Norwich City in the summer of 2015 after impressing the coaches at trials.
He made 15 appearances in total for the U21 team of Norwich City over the course of the 2015-2016 season.
