Northampton Town Continue Monitoring Former Spurs Midfielder Sonupe
Published: July 27, 2016Football League One team Northampton Town continue to run the rule over ex-Tottenham Hotspur starlet Emmanuel Sonupe.
The attacking midfielder worked the full ninety minutes as the Cobblers beat Wolverhampton Wanderers 2-1 in a pre-season friendly at Sixfields on Tuesday night.
Sonupe also featured from the start as Northampton Town were held to a 1-1 draw by Queens Park Rangers last Tuesday.
Born in London, he has played for the U16 and U18 national teams of England.
Scottish club St Mirren offered him his only experience of first team football in the 2014-2015 season.
