Ex- Free State Stars Defender Gege Soriola Trialing At New York Red Bulls
Published: July 27, 2016Allnigeriasoccer.com has been informed that Major League Soccer outfit New York Red Bulls have started running the rule over former Nigeria U23 international Gege Soriola, with a view to offering him a contract.
The defender fell off the radar after his departure from South African topflight club Free State Stars in 2014.
During the first half of the 2016 Nigeria Professional Football League, Gege Soriola represented Shooting Stars of Ibadan.
The 27-year-old has also played locally for JUTH FC, Bayelsa United and Heartland.
New York Red Bulls would be his second MLS club if he is offered a deal, having previously represented Montreal Impact.
