Ex-Chievo Verona Target Kingsley Michael Frustrated Over Failure To Join European Club
Nigeria U20 international Kingsley Michael has been left frustrated as a result of his failure to join a European club despite putting himself in the shop window at the 2015 Fifa U17 World Cup, allnigeriasoccer.com understands.

The midfielder would not have been in this predicament if he had represented Football College Abuja at the prestigious Torneo di Viareggio but he opted to remain in Nigeria ahead of the start of the Flying Eagles get-together.

Goalkeeper Amos Benjamin played for Football College Abuja during the tourney and is now bound for Serie B club Spezia, having impressed the scouts that were present.

Kingsley Michael won an award in this same competition two years ago and was rewarded with a sponsored trip to Slovenia, where he spent one week.

He had attracted interest from Chievo Verona after starring at the Torneo di Viareggio, but the Flying Donkeys have ended their pursuit of the teenager.

Clubs are no longer showing interest in Michael at the moment and Football College Abuja will hold a meeting on Thursday morning to decide his future.
