Agent Provides Key Update On Watford Target Uche Agbo
Published: July 30, 2016Dominic Egbukwu, the Nigerian representative of Uche Agbo, has provided a key update on the transfer situation of the former Nigeria U20 international.
The Enyimba product was acquired by Udinese in January 2014 after attaining the age of majority before he was shipped out on loan to Granada in Spain.
With the Pozzo family selling their stake in Granada to Chinese investors Link International Sports, Uche has two options, either he returns to Udinese or his sporting rights will be transferred to Watford, that is if he is not sold outright.
Egbukwu explained to allnigeriasoccer.com : “We are still negotiating his salary with Watford.
“The plan is that he will join Watford in this transfer window and he will return to Granada on a long term loan until he is able to get a work permit in England.”
In the meantime, Uche has resumed pre-season training at the Andalusian club, for whom he made six appearances last season.
