Fulham Midfielder Dennis Adeniran Continues Impressive Start To The Season
Published: August 16, 2016Dennis Adeniran continued his impressive start to the 2016-2017 season as Fulham U23s beat Blackburn Rovers at Craven Cottage in the Premier League 2, Division 2 on Monday night.
Last week, the 17-year-old midfielder scored on his professional debut in Fulham’s 3-2 victory over Leyton Orient in the League Cup.
The Nigerian trio Tayo Edun, Elijah Adebayo and Adeniran were included in manager Peter Grant’s starting XI and were impressive against Blackburn Rovers.
In the first half, Edun and Adebayo came close to scoring, and a late goal from Adeniran in the 89th minute gave Fulham a 1-0 win.
Adebayo was replaced in the 73rd minute while the remaining two Nigerian talents worked a ninety-minute shift.
