Official : Bologna Borrow Nigeria U23 Star Umar Sadiq From Roma
Published: August 31, 2016Young Nigerian striker Umar Sadiq has joined Italian Serie A club Bologna on loan from AS Roma, writes the official website of the Rossoblu.
The Nigeria U23 international will spend the remainder of the 2016-2017 campaign at Bologna, with an option to make the deal permanent next summer.
Roma have also the right to exercise the buy-back clause.
Umar Sadiq starred for the Nigerian U23 national team at the 2016 Olympic Games, starting every single game during the competition in Brazil and scoring four goals.
The 19-year-old has represented Spezia and Lavagnese in the past.
