Goalkeeper Ikechukwu Ezenwa Joins Super Eagles Walking Wounded Ahead Zambia Clash
FC Ifeanyi Ubah netminder Ikechukwu Ezenwa has joined the list of invited Super Eagles players that are injured ahead of their crucial World Cup qualifier against Zambia in Ndola on October 9.

The 27-year-old had to be replaced in the 73rd minute of FC Ifeanyi Ubah’s 1-0 win in the derby against Enyimba after receiving treatment on the pitch, the club have confirmed.

For the time being, no official statement has been made by FC Ifeanyi Ubah regarding the gravity of the injury sustained by Ezenwa and whether or not he would be fit to honour his call-up to the national team next Sunday.

Super Eagles coach Rohr is sweating on the fitness of Gent winger Moses Simon, who is recovering from a hamstring injury, and Mainz defender Leon Balogun (adductor) ahead of the trip to Southern Africa.

CD Feirense attacking midfielder Oghenekaro Etebo has not been invited because of uncertainty surrounding his fitness and problems pertaining to his residence permit.
