Nigeria Target Ikpeazu Pleased To Break His Duck For Cambridge United
Uche Ikpeazu was delighted to score his maiden goal for Cambridge United in their 2-1 road win over Newport County in League Two on Saturday.

In his fourth appearance of the season, the attacker restored parity in the 61st minute when he headed into the bottom right corner after Elito swung in a cross.

“Happy to get my first goal & first win for the club, to God be the glory. Hopefully the first of many. â½ï¸, ” Uche Ikpeazu said on social media.

The 21-year-old has now hit target for three teams in England since turning professional, the others being Port Vale and Crewe Alexandra.

Ikpeazu, who was born in the United Kingdom, is thought to be on the radar of the Nigerian Federation, with ex-Nigeria U23 coach Samson Siasia inviting him to several training camps ahead of the Olympic Games in Rio.
