Official : Rotherham United Pull Off Transfer Coup To Sign Odemwingie Ahead Of Bolton
Published: October 24, 2016Super Eagles striker Peter Odemwingie has ended speculation about his future by penning a short-term deal until January 2017 with Championship club Rotherham United, subject to FA and EFL ratification.
The Millers have pulled off a transfer coup luring the experienced front man to S60 1AH as he was seriously courted by Bolton Wanderers in the last few days, having trained with the League One outfit.
Odemwingie had been in search of a new club following his release by Stoke City at the end of last season and had tried his luck with Hull City in the summer without success.
The 2010 World Cup star has featured for West Bromwich Albion, Cardiff City and Stoke City in the Premier League and had spells with Lille (France), Lokomotiv Moscow (Russia) and La Louvière (Belgium).
He spent the formative years of his career at KAMAZ, CSKA Moscow, AS Racines Lagos and Bendel Insurance.
