Chelsea Prospects Aina, Solanke May Play Against West Ham As Conte Judges Ogbonna
Chelsea boss Antonio Conte has hinted that he may make some changes to his squad for Wednesday’s League Cup tie against West Ham at the London Stadium.

And based on his pronouncement, it means England youth internationals of Nigerian descent Ola Aina and Dominic Solanke could feature against the Hammers.

Our Academy is working very well, in my squad we have Chalobah, Aina, Loftus-Cheek and Solanke which is fantastic.

Four young players and if they deserve to play, they will play, ” Conte was quoted as saying by chelseafc.com.

The former Italy manager knows about the qualities of Angelo Ogbonna, having coached the defender at Juventus and the Italian national team.

If you look at the squad they have many good players, some of whom I know very well like (Angelo) Ogbonna and (Simeone) Zaza. They have a great manager and I know his type of work.

Super Eagles skipper John Obi Mikel has not made a single appearance for the Blues this term and it remains to be seen whether or not he will play his first game under Conte tomorrow night.
