Nigeria Coach In London For Talks With Mikel, Chelsea & Arsenal Higher-Ups
Published: October 26, 2016Super Eagles coach Gernot Rohr has met with Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger, Nigeria skipper John Obi Mikel and technical director at Chelsea F.C, Mike Emenalo in London.
Reports had been making rounds that the German tactician was scouring Europe to hold talks with his players and their coaches over their availability for the World Cup qualifier against Algeria on November 12.
And the Nigeria Football Federation have finally confirmed that Rohr visited his most important player, Mikel, by posting pictures via their official Twitter account.
Gernot Rohr was among the 59,865 spectators that witnessed Arsenal’s 2-0 win over Reading at the Emirates Stadium on Tuesday night.
The Gunners attacking midfielder Alex Iwobi, who is expected to win his eighth cap against the Desert Foxes, was in action for 90 minutes against the Championship team.
