Ex-Nigeria U20 Stars Kayode, Kehinde Fatai Help Clubs Record Identical Wins
Published: October 30, 2016Two former Nigeria U20 stars Kehinde Fatai and Olarenwaju Kayode helped their respective clubs record identical wins in league matches on Sunday.
Ufa star Fatai was on target in the 80th minute as his team saw off Arsenal Tula 2-0 at Stadion Arsenal. Strike partner Sylvester Igboun had set the ball rolling in the first minute of stoppage time in the first half.
FC Ufa are now ninth on the Russian Premier League table after recording their fourth win, and their Nigerian strikers have accounted for all but one of the goals they have scored.
In the Austrian top-flight, Kayode gave Austria Vienna a two-goal lead in the 67th minute in their win over Bright Edomwonyi’s Sturm Graz at the Ernst-Happel-Stadion .
The former Maccabi Netanya frontman has finished each season with at least 10 league goals since he returned to Europe in 2013.
