Exclusive: Nigeria Defender Odunlami To Trouser N110.4 Million In Three-Year Deal With Al Merriekh
Published: November 04, 2016Allnigeriasoccer.com has been informed that Nigeria international Kunle Odunlami has ended speculation about his future after penning a contract with Sudanese Premier League club Al Merriekh.
This website can exclusively report that the former Sunshine Stars stopper has already put pen to paper on a three-year contract with Al Merriekh, who have retained the option of prolonging his stay by an additional season.
Odunlami will earn US$240,000 wages ( equivalent of N110.4 million) over the duration of his contract with the Red Devils, that is $80,000 for ten months times three.
The 26-year-old had agreed personal terms with Botoșani in July, only for the deal to collapse after Sunshine Stars demanded €50,000 transfer fee, which was below the €20,000 the Romanian club offered to pay for his services.
Kunle Odunlami, who has not picked a shirt number, will begin training with Al Merriekh in the next three weeks.
He passed his medical examination on Wednesday, November 2.
