In-form Nigerian Striker Ikpeazu Extends Contract With United
League Two club Cambridge United have extended the contract of former Nigeria U23 invitee Uche Ikpeazu, the striker has announced.

The 21-year-old joined United on a short-term deal in August and has now been rewarded with a new two-year contract following a string of fine displays for the club.

London-born Ikpeazu has appeared 11 times in total for Cambridge United in all competitions, scoring two goals and providing two assists, and has continued to endear himself to the supporters with his physical style of play.

He began his career with Reading and also previously played on loan at Crewe Alexandra, Doncaster Rovers, Port Vale and Blackpool while on the books of Watford.

The attacker trained with Norwich City in July 2016.
