Etebo, Alampasu Finally Land In Abuja, Start Training Tuesday Evening
Published: November 08, 2016
CD Feirense attacking midfielder Oghenekaro Etebo and goalkeeper Dele Alampasu are getting set for their first training session with the Super Eagles, with both players arriving in camp on Tuesday afternoon.
A travel hitch meant the Portuguese-based pair could only arrive in Abuja at 1310 hours this afternoon, which effectively ruled them out of the first workout held by the Nigeria squad.
Twenty players took part in Tuesday morning’s training session under the guidance of manager Gernot Rohr and his assistants.
Standard Liege fullback Elderson Echiejile is the only player still being expected in camp as at the time of filing this report.
