Revealed : Al Merreikh Agent Duped Mfon Udoh Of $1,000
Published: November 15, 2016Investigations conducted by allnigeriasoccer.com can reveal that Enyimba striker Mfon Udoh was duped of the sum of US$1,000 by a representative of Al Merreikh prior to his trip to Sudan for contract talks.
Al Merreikh were growing restless after the CAF Champions League top scorer did not show up in Khartoum as planned, and instructed their representative to travel to Nigeria to hasten up the process and handed him $1,000 meant for the striker’s traveling expenses, bearing it in mind that he lives in Uyo not Lagos.
But Udoh has complained that he had to pay for his own flight ticket and other incidental expenses before his arrival in Sudan.
Before negotiations broke down late last week, the Red Devils had offered Mfon Udoh a four-year contract, with $100,000 wages per season, excluding performance-related variables.
Udoh would have been paid $1,000 if Al Merreikh win the Sudan Premier League, $1,000 if they win the Sudanese Cup and $8,000 if they win the CAF Champions League in 2017.
