Ex-Nigeria U20 Star Sammy Ameobi Inspires Bolton Wanderers To FA Cup Win

Former Nigeria U20 international Sammy Ameobi produced an assured display as Bolton Wanderers advanced to the third round of the Emirates FA Cup thanks to their 3-2 win over Sheffield United on Sunday afternoon.
The Newcastle United loanee’s goal, plus a Gary Madine strike and an effort from Josh Vela assisted the Trotters secure a win over the Blades at Macron Stadium.
A minute after the first half interval, Ameobi put Bolton Wanderers two goals up when he fired home from 25 yards.
The 24-year-old has found the net in every competition he has featured for the third-tier club this term : the League One, EFL Trophy and FA Cup.
Sammy Ameobi was replaced in the 81st minute against Sheffield United.
