Super Eagles Coach Urges Arsenal Midfielder Iwobi To Keep Scoring
Published: December 10, 2016
Super Eagles assistant coach, Salisu Yusuf, has urged Alex Iwobi to keep up his goalscoring form.
The 20-year-old attacking midfielder was on target for Arsenal in their 3-1 victory against Stoke City at the Emirates on Saturday, taking his tally to two goals in his last two matches, having found the net in the Champions League on Tuesday.
Yusuf believes that the youngster is living his true potential as he is beginning to add more goals to his game.
“Iwobi just needs to keep his head straight and keep up his goal scoring form, ” Yusuf told allnigeriasoccer.com.
“Over the week he scored in the Champions League and now he scored again in the Premier League.
“This shows that he his living his true potential with goals to his game.”
Hale End Academy product Iwobi has suited up 19 times for the Gunners in all competitions this season.
