Exclusive : AFC Wimbledon Offer New Deal To Promising Nigerian Right Back Awoyejo
Published: December 16, 2016Allnigeriasoccer.com understands that EFL League One club AFC Wimbledon have moved fast to secure the future of promising Nigerian right-back Jamil Awoyejo.
The Kingsmeadow outfit have offered a scholarship deal to the defender and feelers from the club suggests that he will accept the offer.
Awoyejo currently turns out for AFC Wimbledon U16 squad, and it is expected that he will break into the Development Squad in the not too distant future.
He is eligible to represent the national teams of Nigeria, England and Trinidad and Tobago.
A product of Evolution FC, the fullback was on the radar of Queens Park Rangers and Norwich City prior to his transfer to AFC Wimbledon at the age of 14.
