Official : Washington Spirit Loan Out Francisca Ordega To Sydney FC
Published: December 22, 2016With a statement published on their official website, Washington Spirit have informed that they have loaned Francisca Ordega to Sydney FC for the remainder of the 2016/17 Westfield W-League season.
With the W-League set to end in February 2017, the Nigeria international will remain at the Australian club for the next two months before returning to America.
Only last month, Washington Spirit resigned Ordega to a new contract for the 2017 NWSL season.
The Super Falcons star will have her first training session with Sydney FC on Thursday, and could be handed her debut against Brisbane Roar at Lambert Park on Friday, if she is in tiptop condition.
A native of Gboko, Ordega scored two goals and provided one assist in the 2016 season.
