Man City Striker Iheanacho Buys Stolen House, Then Owner Son Shot By Armed Robbers
Published: December 25, 2016Allnigeriasoccer.com understands that Manchester City striker Kelechi Iheanacho is facing litigation after purchasing a house in Owerri without the knowledge and consent of the rightful owner of the property.
The market value of the property has been put at N300 million but the Nigeria international acquired it for N70 million.
The estate agent that sold the house to Iheanacho was working hand in hand with one of the sons of the genuine owner of the property, who is close to Frankie Stephen better known as the representative of ex-Flying Eagles striker Bernard Bulbwa.
Kelechi Iheanacho’s man Friday, Kingsley Ogbodo, was also involved in this illegal transaction and had been expecting to be paid a commission by the individual posing as the owner of the house.
Unknowingly, Ogbodo burst his client’s bubble after he sued the seller of the house for breach of contract for not getting the percentage of his commission, and when the summon was served it landed in the hands of the rightful owner of the house.
Sources close to the woman informed this website that she did not give her son authorization or power of attorney to sell her house.
One of the woman’s sons, not the one that sold the house, was recently shot by armed robbers and all fingers are now pointing to Kelechi Iheanacho and his camp as the prime suspects.
Ogbodo is trying all he can to get Iheanacho out of this mess and will arrive in Owerri any moment from now for talks with the bonafide owner of the property in a bid to avoid going to court.
