MLS Club Chicago Fire Make Contact Over Availability Of Super Eagles Midfielder Obi
Published: January 06, 2017Major League Soccer outfit Chicago Fire are planning a swoop for Nigeria international Joel Obi in the January transfer window.
According to information from Tuttomercatoweb.com, the Men in Red have contacted Torino over the availability of the attacking midfielder, and the Serie A club hope to sign a young player to replace the Nigerian if he departs the club.
This season, Obi has 14 appearances under his belt in all competitions, logging 555 minutes.
Previously with Inter Milan, he joined Torino in the summer of 2015.
