Nwakali Training With Manchester City Ahead Of January Move
Published: January 08, 2017
Nigerian prospect Chidiebere Nwakali has resumed training with Manchester City ahead of another departure on loan from the Etihad Stadium in the January transfer window.
Because of work permit issues, the ex-Golden Eaglets sensation cannot be included in City’s Premier League roster, and he has suitors from Germany, France and Norway interested in signing him on loan.
“Chidiebere is back in Manchester City, he is training there to prepare him for another loan move, ” Chidiebere’s adviser Allwell Nwakali said to allnigeriasoccer.com.
“There are German and French clubs we are talking to. We have not started negotiations for a new contract with Man City, we hope to do that by June. ”
Last season, the defensive midfielder appeared 22 times for IK Start in the Norwegian top-flight, scoring three goals and providing four helpers.
