Arsenal Nominate African Talent Iwobi For Man Of The Match Vs Preston North End
Published: January 09, 2017The official website of Premier League giants Arsenal has picked the three most outstanding players in Saturday’s hard fought 2-1 win over Preston North End in the third round of the Emirates FA Cup.
Nigerian talent Alex Iwobi is in the running for Man of the Match along with Olivier Giroud and Lucas .
After a total of 39,149 votes cast, the Super Eagle is in third position with 16 percent of the votes, behind the Spaniard and Frenchman who have garnered 32 % and 52 % of the votes respectively.
On his 25th appearance of the season in all competitions, Iwobi put in a full shift against the Championship opponents.
The Hale End Academy product was recently named the 2016 Youth Player of the Year by CAF.
