United States Set To Beat Nigeria To Portland Timbers Goalkeeper Kashope Oladapo
Published: January 12, 2017United States Soccer Federation are ahead of the Nigerian Federation in the race to secure the international future of highly-rated Portland Timbers netminder Kashope Oladapo.
The Happy Valley, Oregon native, who is eligible for Nigeria through his father, is currently training with the United States U15 squad at the Olympic Training Center in Chula Vista, California.
Oladapo was one of the two goalkeepers included in the 24-man roster by head coach Dave van den Bergh.
During the get-together, the USA U15s will tackle Club Tijuana Xolos de Caliente’s U-17 team.
Kash Oladapo plays in the U.S. Soccer Development Academy.
