Official : Peter Odemwingie And Rotherham United Go Their Separate Ways
Published: January 14, 2017Championship club Rotherham United have announced that Peter Odemwingie will not extend his contract which is due to run out at the end of this month.
The Nigeria international penned a short-term contract with the Millers in October and recently held preliminary talks with the club over the extension of his stay, but this has not led to him agreeing a new deal.
Odemwingie might have played his last game for Rotherham United as he suffered a calf injury in the warm-up before the FA Cup clash against Oxford United last weekend.
In total, the 35-year-old recorded seven appearances in the league and provided one assist.
The former Lille star has represented West Brom, Stoke City, Cardiff City and Bristol City in England.
