Nigeria Worst Footballer To Play In Russia Henty Ezekiel Extends Goal Drought In UAE
Published: January 23, 2017
Lokomotiv Moscow loanee Henty Ezekiel made his debut in the Arabian Gulf League for Baniyas but fired blanks as his side lost 4-3 to Dibba on game week fifteen.
The Flying Sport Academy product has not scored in a competitive fixture for the past five months when he managed to hit target against Krasnodar, the only goal he netted for the Railwaymen before he was declared surplus to requirements.
While Senegalese striker Jean-Philippe Mendy, who was signed from Shijiazhuang Ever Bright in January, was on target for Baniyas and also won a penalty, Ezekiel was a shadow of himself.
The Nigerian attacker lasted ninety minutes on the pitch and was yellow carded after 18 minutes.
For the rest of the season, Henty Ezekiel will play with the number 11 jersey.
