Daniel Akpeyi Clarifies : I Have Not Signed A New Contract With Chippa United
Published: January 25, 2017Chippa United netminder Daniel Akpeyi has dismissed reports in his homeland that claimed that he has extended his contract with the South African Premier Division team.
It is correct that the Chilli Boys are hoping to tie him down to a new deal but he has not yet signed the proposed contract.
“Daniel Akpeyi has not signed any new contract with Chippa United. He has been offered an extension, he is studying it, ” a member of his management team informed allnigeriasoccer.com.
Daniel Akpeyi joined Chippa United from Nigerian side Warri Wolves in 2015, and has established himself as one of the most important members in the squad.
He won bronze with the Nigerian Olympic Team in 2016.
