Arsenal Offer New Deals To Three Nigerian Wonderkids
Published: January 28, 2017English Premier League side Arsenal have offered new deals to three talented Nigerian teenagers ahead of the 2017-2018 season.
The Gunners youth-team expert, Jeorge Bird, is reporting that Arsenal have opted to retain James Olayinka, Folarin Balogun and Xavier Amaechi, and the trio are expected to pen scholarship deals ahead of next season.
Promising midfielder Xavier Amaechi, who is an England U16 international, has been guaranteed a professional contract when he turns 17 plus the scholarship deal he has been offered.
Meanwhile, the Gunners higher-ups are yet to make a decision on the future of talented defender Joshua Dawodu.
