Arsenal GK Of Nigerian Descent Posts Shutout As England Thrash Finland

Arsenal youth-teamer Arthur Okonkwo was in between the pipes as England U16s thrashed Finland 4-0 in a 2017 UEFA Under-16 Development Tournament clash on Wednesday.
The 15-year-old netminder wasn’t the only player of Nigerian descent in action for the Young Lions against the Nordic opponents, with Tom Solanke plus Arsenal teammates Bukayo Saka and Xavier Amaechi also making the starting XI.
Manchester City defender Nathaniel Ogbeta was on the bench for the entirety of the contest.
A brace from Tulloch, along with strikes from Cashman and Duncan secured a comprehensive win for Dan Micciche’s side.
England U16s face Spain in their next fixture on Friday, before their final game versus Italy on Sunday.
