Official : Ex-Enyimba Star Rasheed Olabiyi Joins USL Club Harrisburg City Islanders
Former Enyimba midfielder Rasheed Olabiyi has ended his search for a new employer after sealing a move to United States second-tier outfit Harrisburg City Islanders.

The 26-year-old joins the Islanders as a free agent, having parted company with MLS club Houston Dynamo at the end of the 2015 season.

In his first words after completing the transfer, Olabiyi said : I am excited and blessed to be a part of the Harrisburg City Islanders and I thank the club for the opportunity to continue my career in the U.S.

We have a group of strong players that I believe will make us a team to contend with and who can make the playoffs this season”.

Olabiyi is well known in his homeland for helping Enyimba win the Nigerian Professional Football League title back in 2010, but has also represented Pepsi Football Academy and Shooting Stars.

He has trained with the U17, U20 and U23 national teams of Nigeria in the past.
