Exclusive: Belgian, Spanish, Turkish Clubs In Talks With Nigeria U17 Sensation Yahaya
Published: March 28, 2017Nigeria U17 international Nazifi Yahaya is attracting interest from clubs overseas, according to his adviser, Muzammil Dalhatu Yola, the coordinator of Dabo Babes Academy.
The 16-year-old put himself in the shop window at the recently concluded Guateng Future Champions Tournament that took place in South Africa.
“We have been getting a lot of calls and emails since the tournament ended. So many agents have been following him since he represented the U15s team in Botswana, ” Yola told allnigeriasoccer.com.
“Representatives of Belgian, Turkish and Spanish clubs have contacted us, and clubs from South Africa too.
“It is better for Nazifi to start in one of the leagues for him to develop before we start talking about English Premier League. ”
Nazifi Yahaya was a big fish in a small pond at Dabo Babes, so the Academy decided to attach him to Nigerian Professional Football League powerhouse Kano Pillars for this season.
