Several scouts from top European teams watched some English-based Nigerian talents in action at the ongoing Montaigu Tournament in France.

Ouest France says representatives from Chelsea, Arsenal, Manchester City and Manchester United were spotted in Vendee when England U16s tackled Mexico and Portugal.

Three players of Nigerian descent in the form of West Ham's Ajibola Alese, Man City defender Nathaniel Ogbeta and Chelsea starlet Faustino Anjorin featured for the Young Lions in both games.

Bayern Munich, Borussia Dortmund, Juventus, Atletico Madrid, Marseille, Monaco, Rennes and Lille also scouted the aforementioned players in France.

Rated as one of the hottest prospects in England, Ajibola has been linked with a transfer to Manchester City.
