Published: April 21, 2017
Isaac Success' elder brother Goodness Ajayi missed an opportunity to show off his skills to Manchester City scouts during Rijeka's league match with Dinamo Zagreb on April 8.
According to Scouts in attendance, a City scout was among the 6,004 spectators at Stadion HNK Rijeka, and his mission in Croatia was to run the rule over the players in action.
At the beginning of this season, Ajayi was the only Nigerian player reintegrated into Rijeka's first team after impressing while on loan at Bosnian club Siroki Brijeg.
Since the start of this calendar year, the winger or center forward has had sparse playing opportunities, having last suited up for Rijeka in a competitive fixture on December 17.
The 22-year-old Ajayi, who trained with the Flying Eagles before the 2013 World Cup, joined Rijeka from Football College Abuja.
