Official : Stoke City Offer Professional Contract To Highly-Rated Ibadan-Born Young Striker
Published: May 26, 2017Premier League side Stoke City have announced their retained and released list following the conclusion of the 2016-2017 season.
The Potters have met with the Republic of Ireland youth-teamer Shola Ayoola and informed the striker that he has been offered a professional contract with immediate effect.
In the just concluded season, Ayoola was a member of Stoke City's U18 squad, and registered his name on the scoresheet in games against Fulham and Middlesbrough.
The 18-year-old signed a scholarship deal with Stoke City in the summer of 2015 after he was snapped up from Dublin-based club Cherry Orchard.
Ayoola is expected to make the step up to Stoke City's U23 team next season.
