Official : English-Born Nigerian Striker Departs Chelsea After Thirteen Years
Published: May 30, 2017Through a statement on their official website, Liverpool have announced that they have agreed a deal to sign England U20 international Dominic Solanke.
The duration of contract and financial terms have not been disclosed by the Anfield side.
This effectively brings an end to speculation surrounding his future with reports linking the striker with possible moves to Arsenal, Celtic, Bayern Munich and Red Bull Leipzig.
Though the transfer market in England will officially open for business on June 9, Solanke's contract with the Reds will be activated on the first day after his contract with Premier League champions Chelsea expires, July 1.
Reading-born Solanke joined Chelsea at U8 level.
