Arsenal, Man City Stars Start, Two Porto Talents Make Debut As Nigeria Announce Starting XI vs Togo
Published: June 01, 2017Super Eagles coach Gernot Rohr has announced his starting lineup for Thursday's international friendly against Togo at Stade Municipal, Saint-Leu-la-ForĂȘt in Paris, starting from 1800 hours.
Two players in the shape of Porto duo Mikel Agu and Chidozie Awaziem will make their international bow for the three-time African champions, having made the starting eleven.
FC Ifeanyi Ubah netminder Ikechukwu Ezenwa has kept his place in goal ahead of Dele Alampasu, while William Troost-Ekong, Awaziem, Abdullahi Shehu and Elderson Echiejile start in defense.
Oghenekaro Etebo, Wilfred Ndidi and Mikel Agu start in midfield.
The attack has a more familiar look, with Kelechi Iheanacho (Manchester City), Ahmed Musa (Leicester City) and Alex Iwobi (Arsenal) all starting.
