Man City Make Check On Bayern Munich's Nigerian Superkid Ezekwem, Dubbed The Next Alaba
Published: June 06, 2017Bayern Munich's young Nigerian defender Kimberly Ezekwem displayed his skills at the recently concluded Puskás Cup.
A representative of Premier League side Manchester City was spotted at the Pancho Arena for the U17 tournament involving the youth teams of Bayern Munich, Real Madrid, Puskás Akadémia, Panathinaikos, Sporting CP and Budapest Honvéd.
The Citizens talent spotter was in Hungary to keep an eye on the most outstanding players in the tournament.
Ezekwem, a left wing-back who models his game on David Alaba, went the distance in all the matches played by Bayern, and came close to scoring in his team's loss to Panathinaikos.
Born June 19, 2001, the highly-rated Ezekwem represented the youth team of 1860 Munich before he joined city rivals Bayern Munich.
