Published: June 06, 2017Sky Sports has been reviewing the ongoing Fifa U20 World Cup in South Korea after England qualified for the semifinals of the competition with a 1-0 win over Mexico on Monday, June 5.
The Sports Television channel has picked five of the standout players so far representing the Young Lions, with Dominic Solanke (Chelsea), Josh Onomah (Tottenham Hotspur) and Ademola Lookman (Everton) making the list.
''The former Charlton forward has always been held in high regard by the England youth set-up and he looks the type of player that will be given a chance with the senior team, in time, if continuing his progression,'' the editors of Sky Sports wrote on Lookman.
Dominic Solanke : ''The forward has made the headlines back home in recent weeks for deciding to leave Chelsea to go in search of first-team football with Jurgen Klopp at Liverpool.
''He's done his reputation no harm with some strong performances leading the line in Korea.''
Josh Onomah : ''The holding midfielder patrols the area in front of the back four with great maturity and he possesses a good engine which enables him to get involved with the attacking play.''
Lewis Cook (Bournemouth) and Jonjoe Kenny (Everton) complete the list and the five players have been tipped to make their senior England debut in future.
