Super Eagles Striker Finds The Net In Kazakhstan After Three Months
Published: June 18, 2017Out-of-favour Super Eagles striker Izu Azuka was on target in the 16th round of matches in the Kazakhstan Premier League on Sunday.
Okzhetpes Kokshetau defeated Akzhaiyk Uralsk 2-1, with the Nigerian netting the only goal for his team from the penalty spot in the 58th minute.
The 28-year-old had not scored in the league since his brace against Shakhter Karagandy on match day two, prior to today's meeting at Astana Arena.
Azuka appeared for Kazakhstan clubs Irtysh Pavlodar and FC Taraz before his transfer to Akzhaiyk Uralsk in 2017.
On his curriculum vitae, the striker has also represented clubs in Algeria, Libya, Tunisia and Turkey.
