Gent Dismiss Rumours Linking Esiti To PSG, Borussia Dortmund
Published: June 19, 2017Belgian First Division A club Gent have dismissed speculations linking their midfielder Anderson Esiti to Paris Saint-Germain,VfB Stuttgart and Borussia Dortmund.
Widespread reports had suggested that the defensive midfielder was in advanced talks with PSG, but an official of Gent said they have not had any communication of any sort with the overseas clubs.
''We have not heard anything yet. So far no club has approached us to discuss about Esiti, '' a Gent official said to Voetbalkrant.com.
The 23-year-old Esiti recorded 37 appearances in all competitions for Gent last season, logging 2,429 minutes.
The former GD Estoril Praia and Leixões SC ace has a contract with the The Buffalos for the next three seasons.
