Agent Explains Why Zulte Waregem Will Not Cover Gent Loanee Peter Olayinka's Wages
Peter Olayinka's intermediary Cédric Mazet has explained that the laws in Belgium prevented First Division A club Zulte-Waregem from covering a certain percentage of the player's wages.

The Nigerian striker has been farmed out on loan by Gent for a second consecutive season, having spent the whole of the 2016-2017 campaign at Czech First League club FK Dukla Prague.

''There is no option to buy him outright but all is open after the season. Gent will take care of his wages, it's the law in Belgium,'' said Mazet, who brokered the deal that took Fanendo Adi to Timbers, to allnigeriasoccer.com.

Though Olayinka has yet to make his competitive debut for Gent, he has been tipped to fulfill his potential at Zulte-Waregem.

''He has a big profile, he will do well and we are happy to find the right challenge and coach to develop him, whereas I have other clubs interested to sign him from Czech Republic, France, Denmark and Turkey,'' added the French intermediary.

Peter Olayinka links up with Nigeria international Kingsley Madu and Aliko Bala at Zulte-Waregem.
