Talented Nigerian Midfielder Wins Fulham's U23 Goal Of The Season Award
Published: June 24, 2017Talented Nigerian midfielder Dennis Adeniran has won Fulham's U23 Goal of the Season Award for the 2016-2017 campaign.
The 18-year-old's spectacular effort against Blackburn Rovers on the opening day of the season on August 15, 2016 was voted the most eye-catching goal scored by an U23 player last term.
Adeniran's 88th minute goal at Craven Cottage picked up 20.5 percent of the votes in a poll by the official website of Fulham.
The England U18 international beat Jon Dagur Thorsteinsson, who was nominated three times, to the accolade.
The young star netted on his competitive debut for Fulham in a League Cup match against Leyton Orient back in August.
