Chelsea's Omeruo Publicly Dismisses Link With Wolverhampton Wanderers : No Truth To it
Published: July 17, 2017Nigeria international Kenneth Omeruo has publicly dismissed reports that first surfaced in the local press that linked him with a move to Wolverhampton Wanderers.
It was claimed that the central defender was due to have a medical with the Molineux Stadium outfit today, Monday, after Chelsea accepted a bid of three million pounds from the Championship club.
Wolves fan Robert Howard tweeted to Omeruo : ''Any truth in the rumour that you might be moving to Wolves?''
The Super Eagles star showed off his customer service skills by replying the fan almost immediately : ''No truth to it''.
Then, the defender replied another fan who showed him an article that claimed he was on his way to WV1 4QR : ''Is it my own kenneth omeruo? Or someone else?''
The 23-year-old, who has been omitted from Chelsea's pre-season tour squad, is attracting interest from Turkish Super Lig teams.
