Rangers 'Nigerian Nightmare' Challenges Ex-Chelsea Star For Goal Of The Month Award
Swope Park Rangers attacking midfielder Nansel Selbol remains in the spotlight, with the United Soccer League nominating the 'Nigerian Nightmare' for the Goal of the Month award for July.

Selbol is up for the award for his stunning strike against Seattle Sounders II at Starfire Sports Complex Stadium in Washington on July 21.

The 20-year-old doubled Swope Park Rangers advantage with a precise first-time finish in the 83rd minute, after coming off the bench in the 59th minute.

The former Dream Team VI invitee has been shortlisted for the accolade alongside Luca Uccello (Toronto FC II), Ropapa Mensah (Harrisburg City Islanders), Jose Escalante (Rio Grande Valley FC), Sito Seoane (Ottawa Fury FC) and Corey Hertzog (Pittsburgh Riverhounds).

Other nominees include ex-Chelsea striker Didier Drogba (Phoenix Rising FC), Tyler Blackwood (Sacramento Republic FC), Oscar Jimenez (Louisville City FC) and Aaron Jones (Bethlehem Steel FC).
